About Volunteer Mission Organisation
Volunteer Missions Organisation is an independent nonprofit making Organisation, which is not aligned to any political or religious institution.
Having started some of the current on-going programmes in 2003, we have been offering voluntary mission services to the public for close to 20 years now, as of 2023. We registered as Volunteer Missions in 2018 under the Registrar of Societies in Zambia.
In Voluntary Mission Services of; Care, Relief, Recovery and Hope, is the Organization’s Mission Service Statement.
Our objective programmes:
- Provision of Relief and Care to the Poor and Needy.
- Offering Education support more especially to Primary School learners in a vulnerable state.
- Offering Health, Education, Morality and Self Reliance information to the general public.
- Mobilizing and Supporting professional volunteers for provision of Health and Education services to those most in need in rural and remote areas.
- Preaching God’s Word using various platforms.
- Helping in repairing properties used by the public.
- Advocacy for what is True, Right and Just.
A look at some Mission Works done
- Educating Secondary School learners on the effects of illicit drugs and drug abuse {First programme done in 2003 to 2006 in Kalulushi and Chibombo district of Zambia}.
- Establishing and Supporting Prison Libraries by donating Bibles and various other books to help in the Reformation of Correction Service Facility Inmates. [2010 and 2012 in Chingola and Luanshya].
- Provision of learning materials and food to needy Primary and Secondary learners.
- Sharing Interactive and Inspiring moments with disabled individuals and their relatives.
- Sharing Health, Education, Morality, Self-Reliance and Gospel Lessons with the community.
Critical Needs:
A] The Organisation needs more people to volunteer and actively take part in Voluntary Missions.
B] To adequately help many people, the Organisation needs more resources.
The Organisation has its office in Kalulushi, Zambia.
We intend to open offices in other places as well.
